They were joined by a full house of friends and supporters for a programme of talks, music, and convivial conversation.

The President Hermione Lee began the proceedings with an introductory welcome, folllowed by presentations of current research at Wolfson by Fellows and students, which provided a real insight into intellectual activity at the College for all assembled. We are extremely grateful to Lord Rothschild for hosting the evening's entertainments, and for introducing the programme with his lively recollections of his friendships with two of Wolfson's founders; Isaiah Berlin and Isaac Wolfson.

Imogen Cooper gave a superb recital of pieces by Schubert and Chopin, and her performance was met with resounding applause. Our thanks go to all who attended and made the evening such a success. A full gallery of photos from the event is available on Wolfsonians Worldwide.
